As Scotland prepares to host 200 world leaders for the United Nations COP26 Climate Summit, Education Scotland is keen to celebrate your work to promote Learning for Sustainability and climate education. Please nominate for the Learning for Sustainability Awards by September 12 so your achievements can be shared nationally and globally.

Education Scotland has also created a Countdown to COP26 webpage where you can find out about all the support and resources available to support climate justice education.

The conference presents an ideal opportunity for quality interdisciplinary and deep, authentic learning. Partners are working together to help practitioners and learners engage with the COP26 themes: nature, energy transition, clean transport, adaptation and resilience and finance. There are many opportunities for career long professional learning for practitioners, as well as events to involve children and young people in, and useful links and resources.
