Our leadership workstream lead Olwen Fraser is leading the roll out of a number of exciting professional learning opportunities at the moment, including FREE access for all teachers across all eight Northern Alliance local authorities to the forthcoming Osiris World Education Summit.

Osiris World Education Summit, 22nd-25th March 2021

Have you heard about the World Education Summit yet?

If not, your summit pass is waiting for you now. Sign up soon if you want to access the live sessions but don’t worry if you can’t make the ones you want as they will all be recorded and available two weeks later, alongside an abundance of further resources to support your professional learning for the entire year ahead.

Your Summit Pass gives you access to:

  • 4 days of live keynotes, speakers and professional learning workshops
  • Summit content, resources and practical activities available online and on demand via Summit Central, a bespoke professional learning platform (opens two weeks after the live sessions).
  • Summit Hub – Your chance to network internationally.

Virtual Leadership Networks

Are you a Principal Teacher Faculty Head or DHT looking to connect with others? Our Virtual Leadership Networks meet regularly and provide a place to talk with others and share experiences connected to a theme.

Coaching

  • Getting started with Coaching – Introductory Level

This programme is suitable for those who are new to coaching or who would like to refresh their skills. The next cohort commences on Thursday 13th May 2021 (2 weekly sessions with 3rd optional session)

  • An Introduction to Leadership Coaching – Developing Level

The Introduction to Leadership Coaching programme is being delivered by Growth Coaching International. It is suitable for those who want to develop their coaching skills and think about how to strengthen a culture of coaching in their setting. Curriculum

The purpose of the Northern Alliance Subject Support groups (NASSG) is to work together to bring about improvement within shared priorities by offering space and peer support to:

  • Think, learn, talk, problem solve and innovate;
  • Share ideas, interests and experience;
  • Carry out developments and processes such as moderation together.
