Close to 100 teachers took part in the recent N5 Maths Conference at Millburn Academy in Inverness led by Northern Alliance Maths and Numeracy workstream lead, Andy Thompson. Feedback from the event has given it an impressive satisfaction rating of 4.6/5.

The event tied in with Maths Week Scotland and gave delegates an opportunity to participate in workshops on the national standard, improving pedagogy, Broad General Education (BGE) pathways and more. Iona Coutts and Andy Brown from Education Scotland’s Northern Team supported the event, and every participant received a free book.
